Visiting the masjid
Everything you might want to know before you come, and nothing you don't.
Can I just turn up?
Yes. There is no booking and no charge. Come a few minutes before a jama‘at time and follow people in.
Where do I go?
98 Deepdale Road, Preston PR1 5AR. The entrance is on Deepdale Road. There is on-street parking nearby.
What should I wear?
Modest clothing that covers the shoulders and knees. Women are asked to cover their hair. Shoes come off at the racks by the door.
I am not Muslim. Am I welcome?
Yes. Visitors are welcome to observe. If you would like someone to show you round or answer questions, ring ahead and we will arrange it.
Is there space for women?
Yes. Please ring the office to ask about the entrance and which prayers are covered.
I want to enrol a child
The madrasah takes children from 4 to 16. A short, friendly assessment sets the right level.
